Jewelry Care - Clean your new jewelry
Owning a jewelry includes caring for it. When you purchase a jewelry, clean it before wearing. Especially if it is a body jewelry. There are all kinds of ways to clean your jewelry:
- Use anti-bacterial soap and rinse off well with warm or hot water.
- Some jewelry stores provide pre-injected swaps (Steret) when you buy jewelry from them. You can clean with those. However, some believed that they are not as effective.
- If you wear contact lense, you can use the saline solution to clean the jewelry. Soak it in saline for a couple of hours and wash with soap for extra cleanliness.
- To remove lightdirt and fingerprints, use a small amount of mild liquid detergent to a 1/2 cup of warm water and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Dry it completely before storing. Then polish it up with a soft cotton cloth.
